Springtime Appropriate Dress Reminder

The Administration of Berlin High School would like to remind students and their families of the BHS dress code, in particular its policies towards warmer weather dress by our students.   The most contentious issues usually surround the following passage of the BHS Dress Code: "Shirts and/or blouses which reveal the abdomen, chest, undergarments, or have spaghetti straps."  Another common and undesirable form of dress is: "Attire or accessories which depict logos or emblems that encourage the use of drugs, tobacco products, or alcoholic beverages."  Spandex undergarments must be covered by shorts or skirts and finally, sunglasses are not allowed to be worn in school.   These are the warmer weather highlights, but parents and students are encouraged to read the entire policy which is attached to this posting.
