Do you need help paying for College?

The American Savings Foundation Scholars Program has helped to provide more then $4.7 million to more then 1,100 students entering college.

This Foundation is a independent non-profit organization serving 64 towns in Connecticut.  An application and a list of eligible towns can be found by going to www.asfdn.org.

Governor's Coalition for Youth with Disabilities

The Governor's Coalition for Youth with Disabilities is offering a scholarship for graduating seniors with disabilities.

Hard copies of the scholarship are being sent to the high school, however, the Coalition is encouraging students to access application instructions from their website: www.gcyd.org

The application deadline is February 15, 2011

American Legion Post 68 Scholarship

Attention Seniors:

The American Legion Post 68 Scholarship is now available.  Two $1500.00 scholarships will be awarded to 2 BHS students going onto a two- or four-year institution of high learning.  Recipients must be son, daughter, or grandchild of a Post 68 member, Ladies Auxiliary, Sons of American Legion Post 68 or a veteran of the Town of Berlin.

The scholarship must be returned to the Guidance Office by April 30, 2011
