Renovation Progress Spring-Summer 2008
Scope of the Work:
- Removal of rubberized surface and inspection of the bituminous concrete surface below.
- Repair of Bituminous Concrete (if necessary) and resurfacing of the track with a Red synthetic surface.
- Improvements to the long jump landing areas, including new sand and a larger landing area to keep current with safety standards.
- Improvements to the polevault landing areas, including concrete anchorages for the standards and a larger paved area for the landing system to rest on.
- Modifications to the discus cage to keep up with current safety standards.
- Modifications to the Jumping runways and resurfacing.

June 18, 2008 - Crushed stones ready for Bituminous Concrete. Jumping pits dug out. |
June 10, 2008 - Bituminous Concrete Removed and Crushed Stone base improved |
